Stephanie's on Newbury

I'm sure by now Stephanie's is a staple of Newbury st. It's a nice place to come and sit on patio. I wouldn't go to sit inside , food is not out of the ordinary. Decent but not mind blowing. Service is good . I notice their lunch menu had an omelette witch is nice if you are staying in the area and missed breakfast. Overall it's a good solid go to for me in the warmer months.

Good place for comfort food, breakfast and brunch. This is a fast food place with a warm and comfortable ambiance. I tried the open burger and it was delicious, the mezze sandwich is good too, in case you don’t like meat. Fast and decent service, inside is clean and everything in order. There are tables to sit outside. The bathrooms are clean. Price is acceptable. I’d recommend this place for people who need to grab a quick bite, or have a coffee and who want to enjoy their food in a comfortable and cozy environment.

Fashionable Newbury spot for lunch. Food is eclectic and nice though a bit high on the price mark for the quality. Restaurant has a bustling energetic atmosphere.

Fun and fast paced. Don’t let them make you another brunch number. Tell them you want spice in your bloody, baby!

We had a wonderful meal here! If I could, I would probably give a 4.5, but that’s not an option and it was better than a 4... the only reason I would dock 0.5 points is the crab cakes were not quick lumpy enough for my taste, but the flavor was delicious! We also ordered the wedge salad, which was HUGE and tasty! We also ordered the fish and chips, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. We rounded out our meal with the chocolate cake... drool worthy! When I travel with my mom we always split and the portions were perfect for the split!

Very good service and good food. The Rose Sangria and Lavendar Collins were delicious. Everyone should try the Fried Zucchini Bread appetizer.

Brilliant menu, great location, tremendous service, exquisite food. I ordered the fish and chips; the house-made jalapeño tartar sauce was good enough to eat with a spoon, not to mention the clam chowder. Pricey but remarkable. Also pictured is the Joker, as tasty as it is gorgeous.

Went because it's Stephanie's on Newbury and supposed to be awesome. Unfortunately, our experience was not so awesome. The patio seating was great but then again it was a beautiful day! The hostess greeted us quickly and was very pleasant. Our server was nice but slow - well slow to come to the table but when she was at the table, she was in a hurry to leave. Then she would disappeared for long periods of time. We had to ask for her twice after waiting to the point of being frustrated. The mac & cheese was delicious and the best part of the meal. The lettuce wraps and ahi tuna burger were mediocre. The burger came with a spicy slaw that was tasteless. I was disappointed especially considering the prices. I guess we can say we've been to Stephanie's...but we won't be returning.

When in doubt, Stephanie's On Newbury is the way to go for great dining selection, great atmosphere with awesome happy tunes, and super friendly/informative staff.This is the 3rd time we had brunch here and don't regret experiencing this dining again and again. Amazing! Had the Lobster Roll, one of the best I've ever had! Service, atmosphere, food, and prices amazing!

Good location. Great food. Safe to take your parents. The bar is a little small and fills up quickly at peak times. Sometimes the staff will help you find a seat if you want to watch a game.

I usually come to Stephanie's for brunch when I have friends or family visiting. It is a very popular Boston spot, with an airy interior, and great outdoor seating. They have loaded bloody Mary's and all the classic brunch options plus extras like monkey bread. For lunch I love the chicken salad, goat cheese salad, or tuna melt, and dinner is awesome too. It is a little on the pricier side, and I'd recommend making a reservation.

When in Boston, brunch at Stephanie’s or regret that you didn’t. Classic American style brunch with a New England flavour. Bloody Mary menu is great, food is just right and service is prompt. Don’t miss out and book well in advance! You’ve been warned.

It was my first time at Stephanie's and I had brunch on a Sunday morning. We made a reservation and the place was packed! Located on Newbury, street, it's close to shopping and other brunch restaurants. I ordered the crab benedicts and my friend had the shakshuka, both were delicious. The shakshuka was huge and decently priced while the benedicts were tasty but in smaller portions, so I would recommend getting the shakshuka if you're looking for a bang for your buck. They also serve a wide variety of Bloody Marys, margaritas, champagne, etc but cost around the same price as a small meal. Overall, would definitely go back again with the expectation that I am splurging on good food!

Honestly, everything was just ok. But because it's so expensive, it was pretty disappointing. I don't want to pay $18 dollars for a mediocre omlet that doesn't even come with toast....

We have just sat at the bar and had drinks and desserts. It's a casual place to hang out, chat and nibble. Really like ...

Very good sandwich, fresh and fast, happy with that. Dessert was passable, obviously from frozen but not bad. Prices are high for what it is but you pay for the name etc. Lovely ambiance, if someone suggested going here I'd be happy. Double if they pick up the tab ;)

Casual dining. Cornbread crabcakes are different but good, lobster pot pie was cheesy but filling. Service was as accepted for a rainy night. Would most likely try again.

Had brunch here today. Service was good, and the food tasted decent. We ordered two coffees, and they both came out cold (Like they had been sitting on the counter for a while), but they were quick to bring them to us. When we asked for hot coffee, they did fix the problem. But then when they brought us our food it was also luke-warm. Overall it was tasty, but not what I expected. This used to be a go-to place, but after the last few times we've been here, it might be time to give it a break.

Dined outdoors for lunch. Lovely location with good food and drinks. We had a beet salad, crab cakes and calamari. Excellent bloody Mary and espresso martini too!
